Thermostat housing comes with two 12mm bolts, thermostat could be located once the thermostat housing is removed. The metal housing that the hose attaches to is the thermostat housing. Its relatively easy to get in there, but if you got a new gasket with your new thermostat, you might have to use a little bit of oil to get it to slide in there, mine was a pain in the ass and wouldnt fit just right til i lubed it up.
